Snowshoe outing
If you’d like to take a stroll in the forest or get a little more height, or if you’d like to make the most of the mountain wilderness, we recommend that you hire a snowshoe guide for your outings. These professionals will guarantee you a safe outing and help you discover the history of the resort through fascinating anecdotes and stories. They can also show you the tracks of wild animals, introduce you to the flora and help you appreciate the landscape at its best. For gourmets, there are snowshoe trails to the mountain restaurants.
Sled dogs and tobogganing area
At Husky Adventure, a sledding school with 25 years’ experience, you can enjoy dog-drawn sleigh rides and learn to drive a sled team. Treat yourself to a unique experience as you ride in a sled pulled by 8 to 10 dogs and driven by an experienced musher through snow-covered mountain landscapes.
There’s no age limit for sledging! For the little ones, the Aussois resort has created specially adapted runs, including an area reserved for 2-6 year-olds. Older children can have fun and challenge their friends on the toboggan run near Fort Marie-Christine. More info on the Aussois website.
