Autumn in the mountains

As summer draws to a close, the trails become quieter and the peaks whiter, offering you exceptional outings in the heart of breathtaking autumn landscapes.

Whether you’re going for a walk, a cycle ride on the signposted trails, or simply enjoying the sunshine, autumn will be as peaceful as you could wish for, providing a well-deserved break before the frenzy of winter.

A number of events take place at the beginning of September, including the Trophée Enduro des Alpes and the D’Tour paragliding contest. These are all great opportunities to discover Aussois at the height of the season, with summer and winter intermingling on the heights.
